Privacy Policy
Placeholder — full policy will be published before general availability. Last updated: April 2026.
1. Who we are
ShipTogether is operated by Trevia Group OÜ. For privacy questions: support@ship-together.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data — email, full name, company, phone, role, and profile details you submit.
- Shipment data — cargo description and dimensions, pickup and delivery addresses, preferred dates, partner-quote requests.
- Payment data — processed by Stripe; we store transaction references and payment status, not card numbers.
- Usage data — aggregate, anonymised page views via Plausible on the marketing site. No cross-site tracking.
3. Why we collect it
To match joiners to pools, share required shipment details with pool organisers and approved partners on the same route, process payments, and communicate about your account (email and in-app notifications).
4. Who we share it with
- Pool organisers see the cargo details and addresses of joiners who request to join their pool.
- Partners see the lane, service category, cargo volume, and contact details needed to quote and perform a service — only when you request a partner quote.
- Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and authentication), and Netlify (hosting) act as our processors.
- We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@ship-together.com. If you are in the EU, the GDPR applies; we respond within 30 days.
6. Retention
We retain account and shipment data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure for legal and accounting obligations. Payment records may be retained longer where tax law requires.
7. Cookies
The app uses essential cookies only (authentication session). The marketing site uses Plausible analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-focused.
8. Changes
We will replace this placeholder with a full privacy policy before general availability and will notify beta users of any material change in data handling.
